I'm a bit upset about the whole experience. 1) Our car is only just 4 years old (we've had it from new) and the sensor that controls the Ad Blu has failed, which seems wrong. It's over 1000€ to replace. 2) When I called Ford to book an appointment it was 2 weeks before they could see the car. It's now another 2 weeks before they can fit the part (despite having it in stock) so the car us unusable in the meantime. 3) It took 3 hours for the atelier to come back and tell me what the problem was, despite using a diagnostic machine. 4) I had to pay 130€ for the use of the diagnostic ie for Ford to just tell me whats wrong with it. 5) Since Ford put 2 new front tyres on a few months ago, there's been a problem with tyre wear and therefore the alignment or tracking. I asked for this to be done and assumed that in 3 hours it would have been, but it wasn't done so that's will also need to be done at the next appointment. Finally 6) I needed a small part to repair the divider for use on the back (benne) of the car (it's a pick up) and the member of staff gave me no confidence that he's actually ordered that for me.
The car has only done 50,000 kms so is practically like new and having such a major non-moving part fail I think is a fairly shocking commentary on build quality for what is a top of the range car.
